Aisha Hinds and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aisha Jamila Hinds was born in the United States and is most well-known for her performance in The Shield. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The year 2005 was the year she gained attention first for her performance as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she was due as an actor. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season.
